JU strengthens its ties with the University of Panama

According to a newly signed agreement, the Jagiellonian University will strengthen its cooperation with the University of Panama. The document was signed by JU Rector's Proxy for Internationalisation Prof. Adam Jelonek and UP Rector Prof. Eduardo Flores. The event was attended by Polish Ambassador to Panama Leszek Biały.



The agreement is concerned with facilitating and intensifying the collaboration between the two partner universities regarding teaching and research in the area of biology, biotechnology and environmental protection. In particular, both higher education institutions will develop joint research and teaching programmes, initiate staff, student and PhD candidate mobility programmes, and work together on science communication and research projects.
