LL.M. Program offered by CUA in cooperation with Jagiellonian University

LL. M. Studies – a post-diploma study programme – usually requires a student to spend a year at a foreign university, which is often a very expensive endeavour. The LL. M. Programme, co-funded by the Catholic University of America and the Jagiellonian University, was created to help resolve this problem, both in its financial and organisational aspect.

The LL. M. degree (Master of Laws), granted by the Catholic University of America, is awarded to students who spend one spring semester at the CUA and pass all exams required by the Jagiellonian University. This way, the students are allowed to plan their education with more flexibility. Additionally, the CUA also admits students who want to participate in the programme in the final years of their studies, thus allowing them to begin their professional career immediately after they acquire their MA degree.

The programme was established 12 years ago and is currently the only one of its kind in Poland. During that time, thanks to the fruitful cooperation between both universities, is has garnered tremendous acclaim and popularity among ambitious young lawyers who aim to increase their qualifications.
