Dr Andrzej Duda of JU Faculty of Law and Administration elected President of Poland

According to the official results of the second turn of presidential election of 24 May 2015, announced by the State Electoral Commission, the staff member of the JU Faculty of Law and Administration Dr Andrzej Duda was elected President of Poland.

The incumbent president enrolled onto the JU Faculty of Law and Administration in 1991. He completed his MA thesis in February 1997 and became academic staff member of the Chair in Administrative Procedure, and then, in 2001, the Chair in Administrative Law. He obtained PhD degree in January 2005.
