Last Saturday, the prestigious German Max Planck Society opened an exhibition entitled "Science Tunnel 3.0" in the Polish Aviation Museum. Kraków is the first city in Eastern-Central Europe in which the exhibition is being presented. The Jagiellonian University co-organised the event.
Thanks to audiovisual presentations displayed on special screens, the visitors could acquaint themselves with research in various fields, from astronomy and medicine to nanoscience and nanotechnology. The guests found themselves in a futuristic environment, created from segments of a tunnel.
"Science Tunnel 3.0" is a continuation of an exhibition presented at Expo 2000 in Hannover. After the first one, the exhibitions "Science Tunnel 1.0" and "Science Tunnel 2.0" has been presented in various important scientific and cultural centres around the world until 2013.
The exhibition will be open until 6 December 2015.
