The goal of this workshop is to present and discuss the theoretical foundations of studying human behaviour as part of an interaction and the commitments this would imply. The participants discuss current methods of data collection and analysis which relevantly contribute to their understanding of interpersonal interactions and allow new questions to be asked.

JU Comparative Literature Student Society is pleased to invite you to an international, student-doctoral conference 'ABOUT US'. The organisers aim at creating a space for discussions around the construction and annihilation of communities in literature / by literature, and comparative studies’ role in researching those processes. The conference will be held on 9-10 May 2024 and is planned as a hybrid event.

The aim of the conference is to discuss the growing role of new technologies in the tourism market, including artificial intelligence and Smart Tourism. Additionally, the participants will discuss other determinants shaping the contemporary tourism market, in particular the following issues: market revival after the pandemic, threats resulting from the international political situation, opportunities and place of the tourism economy in EU financing in the „2030 Horizon” as well as other economic and social changes.

The JU Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science invites you to attend this year’s edition of the Stanisław Łojasiewicz Lecture, entitled ‘The infinite is a good approximation of the very large finite’, which will be delivered by Prof. László Lovász from the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

The 4th WCPE is organised jointly by the JU Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science, the International Research Group on Physics Teaching (GIREP), and the International Union for Pure and Applied Physics, in cooperation with the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Wrocław.

In 1994 Krakow witnessed the opening of the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology, created on the initiative of the Kyoto-Krakow Foundation of Andrzej Wajda and Krystyna Zachwatowicz-Wajda. The name of the Museum is a tribute to the collector of Japanese art, Feliks Jasieński (1861–1929), who, fascinated with Japanese woodblock prints, adopted this artistic pseudonym. The conference marks the 30th anniversary of Manggha foundation.
