Jagiellonian University signs agreement with the American University in Cairo

On 15 December 2017 a student exchange agreement between the the American University of Cairo (AUC) and the Jagiellonian University was signed in Cairo.

The Rector of the Jagiellonian University, who earlier signed the document, was represented by the Head of the Department of Israel and Levant at the JU Institute of the Middle and Far East. During the meeting in Cairo, the agreement was signed by the AUC Provost Dr Ehab Abdel Rahman, who was accompanied by the university’s President Francis J. Ricciardone and the Ambassador of Poland to Egypt Michał Murkociński.

The signing ceremony took place during the conference "Approaches and Challenges in Arabic Language Pedagogy" organised by the American University of Cairo and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland to Cairo.
