87 students and 15 doctoral students from the Jagiellonian University will receive the scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for special academic, sport and artistic achievements. The scholarship value is 15 thousand PLN for students and 25 thousand PLN for doctoral students.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin decided to award scholarship to 744 students and 79 doctoral students altogether on 15 December 2015. They had been selected by a group of experts representing seven different academic fields, as well as art, from among 1902 applications sent by rectors of Polish universities. The candidates, who included 1223 students and 679 PhD students received credits for specific academic achievements, as well as achievements in art (if related to their field of study) and sport.
