The conference of the European Health Policy Group was held in the Jagiellonian University Collegium Maius from April 23 to 24, 2015. The meeting was organised by the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Jagiellonian University Medical College.
The European Health Policy Group consists of health policy analysts, experts in the area of political studies and health economics, as well as European health policy makers, who meet twice a year to exchange views, research findings and information regarding recent changes in the area of health and welfare systems in European countries. It has become a tradition that each year the autumn conference is held in London (usually at the London School of Economics or the King's Fund), whereas the spring meetings take place in different European countries. This year's meeting is the first one to be held in Poland. Its participants included experts from Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
