On 13 May 2015 at 11.00 a.m., a letter of intent was signed in the JU Collegium Novum. The letter outlines the future cooperation agreement between the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University and the and the College of International Studies of the Tamkang University. The Taiwanese university was represented by Dr Wai-chin Tai, Vice-President of International Affairs.
Dr Wai-chin Tai was received by Prof. dr hab. med. Wojciech Nowak, JU Rector, in his office. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Adam Jelonek, Head of the Chair of East and South Asia, Prof. Bogdan Szlachta, Dean of the Faculty of International and Political Studies, and Dr Adina Zemanek, Dean's Proxy.
After signing the letter, which pertained to future cooperation in student and staff mobility programmes, the participants discussed the details of the future agreement, such as possible establishment of a double degree study programme and expanding the educational offer in the area of European Studies.
